De Chamber of Manipulation-kaart zou ten goede komen aan een controledek dat zich richt op kaartvoordeel en manipulatie van wezens. Hoewel het een krachtig effect biedt om controle over een wezen te krijgen, maken de hoge manakosten en de noodzaak om een kaart weg te gooien het enigszins situationeel. Andere kaarten zoals Treachery of Control Magic kunnen efficiëntere opties zijn voor vergelijkbare effecten, maar Chamber of Manipulation kan nog steeds spelen in een kaartspel op zoek naar een unieke manier om het bord te besturen.
