A deck that focuses on quick summoning and swarming the field with Fairy-type monsters would benefit from Hourglass of Courage, as it can provide a significant power boost once its effect resolves. However, there are better options available in the Yu-Gi-Oh TCG that offer similar effects without the initial drawback of halving its stats, such as Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen or The Sanctuary in the Sky.
