A deck that focuses on controlling the opponent's field with high-level monsters, such as a stun or control deck, would benefit from using Burden of the Mighty. However, there are better alternatives like Skill Drain which negates all monster effects on the field or There Can Be Only One which restricts the types of monsters your opponent can control. Burden of the Mighty can be situational and may not see play in competitive decks due to its limited impact compared to other more powerful control cards.
