This card would be beneficial in an aggressive white weenie deck that focuses on swarming the battlefield with small creatures and overwhelming the opponent with numbers. While Captain's Claws can generate additional creatures and provide a power boost, there are potentially better options such as Sword of Fire and Ice or Sword of Feast and Famine which offer more versatile abilities.
