This Daggerdrome Imp card could be beneficial in a black-based aggro or midrange deck looking to gain incremental life while dealing damage. However, there are potentially better options like Vampire Nighthawk, which offers similar abilities with added deathtouch and higher toughness for better survivability. Depending on the deck's strategy and synergy, Daggerdrome Imp may or may not see play in competitive settings, but it can still find a home in casual or budget decks.
