A deck centered around Evil HERO monsters, particularly those with Level 4 or lower, would benefit from using Evil Assault in order to search and summon key monsters from the deck. While the restriction on Extra Deck Special Summons can be limiting, the potential to recover Dark Fusion from the graveyard adds utility. However, in a competitive setting, there may be better search or summoning cards available, such as Reinforcement of the Army or E - Emergency Call, which offer similar benefits without the restrictions, making Evil Assault less likely to see consistent play.
