A deck that focuses on Spell Card activation and has easy access to Dark Magician would benefit from using Skilled Dark Magician, such as a Dark Magician or Spellcaster-themed deck. While Skilled Dark Magician can be a useful tool for summoning Dark Magician, there are better options available in the current meta, such as Magician's Rod or Magician's Souls, which provide more consistent and powerful effects. Therefore, Skilled Dark Magician may not see much play in competitive decks, but could still be fun to experiment with in casual or themed decks.
