While there may be other powerful vampire cards available, Sanctum Seeker's ability to drain life from each opponent simultaneously makes it a strong inclusion in vampire-themed decks, especially in aggressive strategies where life gain and loss can swing the game in your favor. It should definitely see play in the right deck.
