Zektar Shrine Expedition would be a great fit in a red aggressive landfall deck, where the focus is on quickly ramping up land drops to activate its ability and generate powerful Elemental tokens for a fast and aggressive strategy. While there may be more efficient cards for similar effects like Scute Swarm or Omnath, Locus of Creation, Zektar Shrine Expedition can still be a strong inclusion in decks looking to capitalize on landfall triggers and aggressive token strategies.

The landfall ability triggers whenever a land enters the battlefield under your control for any reason. It triggers whenever you play a land, as well as whenever a spell or ability (such as Rampant Growth) causes you to put a land onto the battlefield under your control. It will even trigger when a spell or ability causes another player to put a land onto the battlefield under your control (as can happen with Yavimaya Dryad’s ability, for example).
