About Fortified Village

Fortified Village, Land, designed by Cliff Childs first released in May, 2020 in the set Shadows over Innistrad Promos and was printed exactly in 21 different ways. It see play in 2 formats: Commander and Duel Commander. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 0.57.

A deck that focuses on green and white mana sources, such as a Selesnya or Bant deck in Magic: the Gathering, would benefit from using Fortified Village as it provides flexibility in mana production. While Fortified Village is a solid option for dual lands in these color combinations, there are better alternatives like Temple Garden or Sunpetal Grove that can enter untapped more consistently. However, Fortified Village can still see play in budget decks or as additional mana fixing in certain strategies.
