Roar of Jukai, Instant — arcane, designed by Ron Spencer first released in Feb, 2005 in the set Betrayers of Kamigawa. It's currently being selled by the minimum price of 3.29.
This card, Roar of Jukai, would benefit a green-based aggro deck that focuses on creature combat, especially if it already includes a significant number of Forests. While the +2/+2 bonus to blocked creatures can be impactful in combat situations, the splice ability to gain life for the opponent may not always be desirable. Other cards like Giant Growth or Aspect of Hydra might offer more consistent and powerful effects, making Roar of Jukai a situational inclusion that may not see widespread play in competitive decks.

A card with a splice ability can’t be spliced onto itself because the spell is on the stack (and not in your hand) when you reveal the cards you want to splice onto it.

If all of the spell’s targets are illegal when the spell tries to resolve, it won’t resolve and none of its effects will happen.

Roar of Jukai can be cast even if you don’t control a Forest or there are no blocked creatures. If you control no Forests or if there are no blocked creatures, the spell does nothing.
