This card would be a great fit for a deck focused on generating and utilizing energy counters, especially in a deck that aims to go wide with creature tokens. While Stone Idol Generator offers a powerful payoff for accumulating energy counters, there may be more efficient cards for token generation in certain decks, such as cards that provide immediate value or synergy with other cards in the deck. However, if the deck is built around energy counters and can consistently generate them, Stone Idol Generator could definitely see play as a strong finisher option.
