New Cards

So far, Seventh Tachyon has been considered the best card from this set by many players because, besides being a ROTA for its archetype, it fits many other decks that focus on xyz summons.

It will be particularly relevant because Ryzeal is the main deck in the format, and, considering a new banlist update is right around the corner, many players believe KONAMI will nerf this deck. As a result, we'll need this card to keep it consistent.

Seto Kaiba's classic "X-Y-Z" cards got updated versions, with new effects and illustrations. These new cards will make this deck very similar to the ABC archetype, particularly the core card in this strategy and its new boss monster, XYZ-Hyper Dragon Cannon, which is practically a new ABC-Dragon Buster!

Trickstar Aqua Angel is both part of the Trickstar archetype and the Marincess archetype, and that's just the second archetype I expect this card to see play in. Besides being an extender, this card's effect is insane when you use it as a link material, as it lets you look at all the cards in your opponent's hand, including any face down card. That way, Marincess, which was already very consistent and had a lot of space for tech cards, will now be able to abuse another "very fair" interaction.

The Duke of Demise is a "generic" fusion that will support both Fiend and Zombie monsters. This card is a good extender because of its effect, which lets you normal summon another card. Furthermore, when you banish it from your graveyard with its own effect, it recycles a Fiend or Zombie monster from your graveyard by returning it to your hand.

Ancient Gear Statue is a great support card for its archetype. It is both a starter and an extender, so it will make the entire strategy more consistent.

These cards will support the Allure Queen archetype, which so far only had 3 monsters with an "LV" mechanic (Allure Queen LV3, Allure Queen LV5, Allure Queen LV7). Now, we can say this is a full deck. Golden Allure Queen is the center of the entire strategy because it makes it more consistent and gives you a way to interact with your opponent. Furthermore, it protects Allure Queen monsters from being destroyed by effects and turns your old Allure Queen effects (which let you equip enemy monsters to them) into Quick Effects.
TCG Exclusive
The TCG-exclusive cards in this set are directly tied to cards owned by Odion Ishtar, from Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters. These cards interact with many archetypes inspired by the Ancient Egypt, like Serket, Apophis, Anubis, and even the classic The Winged Dragon of Ra. Furthermore, this deck's entire strategy centers around Temple of the Kings, a continuous spell that lets you activate 1 trap card on the same turn you played it, which will accelerate your game plan quite a bit.

Reprints

Despite being out of the meta for a long time, Swordsoul was still quite expensive. Now that Swordsoul of Mo Ye is being reprinted, it will become a budget list. Another highlight among these Swordsoul reprints is Swordsoul Supreme Sovereign - Chengying, which is very popular in many strategies because it is a powerful level 10 synchro monster.

Mulcharmy Purulia is the most important reprint in this set because it is one of the most impactful handtraps in the entire game right now. As it is the first time one of the Mulcharmy is reprinted, many players expect its price to drop quite heavily. That way, budget players will be able to get at least one of the powerful, new card draw handtraps!

Crystron Quariongandrax was one of the cards that was out of stock after KONAMI released some excellent support for this archetype. Now, this deck, which was already budget-friendly, will become even more accessible because its boss monster will probably get a lot cheaper.
