Introduction

Goblin Biker focuses on Fiend, Warrior, and Beast-Warrior monsters with multiple attributes. They're also rank 3 and rank 6 monsters, and represent modern Goblins, so they're smaller than "traditional" Goblins and a bit animalistic. Each of them is depicted mounted on a domesticated beast and dressed like a motorcyclist.

This archetype's main strategy is swarming rank 3 monsters. Its trademarks are the interactions that use enemy monsters as material, and a shared mechanic that lets you summon Goblins when you detach monster materials from any side of the board.

Main Deck

Goblin Biker Dugg Charger and Goblin Bikers Gone Wild are both starters and extenders in this archetype. The first one lets you get a Goblin Biker spell/trap from your deck and add it to your hand, and the second one lets you summon 1 Goblin Biker directly from your deck.

As for Goblin Biker Mean Merciless and Goblin Biker Clatter Sploder, they're combo pieces/extenders. You can also use "Clatter Sploder" in particular as an interaction on your opponent's turn.

Goblin Biker Grand Entrance is a ROTA that can work as an extender when you summon a Goblin Biker from your hand. Furthermore, it is also a follow-up because it recycles 1 Goblin monster from your graveyard.

Goblin Biker Grand Breakout adds consistency to your deck, as it lets you summon 1 Goblin Biker directly from your deck. Furthermore, its graveyard effect can finish games because it nerfs your opponent's monsters; it reduces their ATK.

Speedroid Terrortop might not be part of this archetype, but is the best starter in this deck, and can set up your combo all by itself. Speedroid Taketomborg is the rest of the Speedroid engine, and is considered a garnet.

The P.U.N.K. engine works similar to the Speedroid engine above, as it can be both an extender and a starter. It lets you put two rank 3 monsters on the board.

Full-Armored Xyz is a garnet in your main deck. You'll need it to use the Xyz Armor engine in your extra deck. It also lets you summon a xyz monster on your board during your opponent's turn, and triggers this engine's boss monster.

This deck is not known for how many tech cards you can use in it, but is quite solid and plays a few of the best handtraps in the format.

Extra Deck

Goblin Biker Big Gabonga is the most important card in this archetype. It both makes your deck more consistent, as it gets monsters for you, and is an interaction. Its effect lets you attach a monster on the board and use it as material.

Goblin Biker Troika Griare offers you offensive and defensive interactions in the battle phase. Its offensive interaction lets you use your Goblin monsters to attack your opponent's LP directly. Its defensive interaction, meanwhile, lets you negate the attack of one of your opponent's monsters.

Xyz Armor is a very interesting engine and plays a big role in this deck. Xyz Armor Torpedo draws you 1 card when you combo, and also swarms monsters on the board. As for Xyz Armor Fortress, it gets Full-Armored Xyz for you, which is crucial if you want to use your boss monster, Full Armored Dark Knight Lancer, to interact with your opponent.

I:P Masquerena is the most important card in your final board. After all, you'll use it to summon S:P Little Knight on your opponent's turn.

This extra deck also plays a variety of rank 3 xyz monsters to deal with many situations. For instance, it plays negates like Ashura King and Number 3: Cicada King, pseudo negates like Number 75: Bamboozling Gossip Shadow and even Number 49: Fortune Tune, which lets you stall the game or access a "Zeus" combo.

Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS - Sky Thunder is practically a boss monster in any deck that focuses on xyz monsters. You'll also have Downerd Magician, which just gives you more material.

Finally, we have Super Starslayer TY-PHON - Sky Crisis, which is a good out for an enemy "tower" or even a "Zeus".

Game Plan

Most of Goblin Biker's interactions are in your monster zone, but you can only use some of them after they're triggered. You'll notice that these interactions, in turn, will be in your spell/trap zone and your graveyard. Your final board is: Goblin Biker Big Gabonga in your monster zone, but "connected" to Goblin Biker Clatter Sploder in your graveyard; and I:P Masquerena, Full Armored Dark Knight Lancer, and Full-Armored XYZ in your backrow. "Dark Knight Lancer" will also be connected to its graveyard effect.

Standard Combo

Down below, I'll show you the standard combo if you open with Speedroid Terrortop.

> First, special summon Speedroid Terrortop and activate its effect to get Speedroid Taketomborg from your deck and add it to your hand;

> Next, summon Speedroid Taketomborg with its own effect and use both Speedroid as material to summon Goblin Biker Big Gabonga;

> When you summon Goblin Biker Big Gabonga, use its effect to get Goblin Biker Dugg Charger from your deck and add it to your hand;

> Now, summon Xyz Armor Fortress using "Big Gabonga" as material and use its effect to get Full-Armored Xyz from your deck and add it to your hand;

> Special summon Goblin Biker Dugg Charger by detaching one material from Xyz Armor Fortress and use its effect to get Goblin Biker Grand Entrance from your deck and add it to your hand;

> Activate Goblin Biker Grand Entrance to get Goblin Biker Clatter Sploder from your deck and add it to your hand. Then, summon it by detaching 1 material from Xyz Armor Fortress;

> Next, use its effect to summon Goblin Biker Big Gabonga from your graveyard;

> Use Goblin Biker Clatter Sploder and Goblin Biker Dugg Charger as material to summon Xyz Armor Torpedo, and use its effect to draw 1 card;

> Use Xyz Armor Fortress as material to summon Full Armored Dark Knight Lancer, and, next, use Goblin Biker Grand Entrance's effect in your graveyard to move Goblin Biker Dugg Charger from your graveyard to your hand;

> Normal summon Goblin Biker Dugg Charger and use it with Xyz Armor Torpedo as material to summon I:P Masquerena;

> Activate Full Armored Dark Knight Lancer's effect to move Xyz Armor Fortress from your graveyard to your extra deck;

> Then, play Full-Armored Xyz and end your main phase;

> In your end phase, use Goblin Biker Big Gabonga's effect to get Goblin Biker Mean Merciless from your deck and use it as one of your materials. Then, end your turn.

This will be your final board:

Matchups

Goblin Biker is strong when you go first and can deal with most decks in the game, as you'll be able to put solid interactions on the board. However, its board is not unbreakable, and great players piloting great decks can definitely deal with it.

Nonetheless, Goblin Biker is a great budget option for the current format because of its mechanic. It lets you summon Goblins by detaching xyz materials from monsters on any side of the board, and is incredibly useful against Ryzeal, the best deck in the format right now. Furthermore, this mechanic is also quite useful against any deck that uses the Fiendsmith engine to access D/D/D Wave High King Caesar.

This deck is also interesting when you go second, as it can swarm the board with special summons, and, of course, also uses a decent amount of tech cards.

If you're looking for a cheap, solid deck to play in tournaments at the beginning of 2025, Goblin Biker is certainly a great option for you!
