Introduction
Since its release in Power of the Elements, the Spright deck is present in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Metagame and, since then, players have been able to test new cards and adapt the deck to something a bit different from the initial decklists.
The deck is focused on interacting with Level/Class/Link 2 monsters, and many of the Link-3 or higher monsters that were previously being used have been replaced with Rank/Link 2 monsters. This change has allowed for a wider range of plays, since some cards restrict you to only Summon Level/Class/Link 2 monsters after activating them.

Spright Cards
Spright Blue can be Special Summoned from your hand if you control a Level/Rank 2 monster. If Special Summoned: You can add 1 other "Spright" monster from your Deck to your hand.
Spright Jet can be Special Summoned from your hand if you control a Level/Rank 2 monster. If Special Summoned: You can add 1 "Spright" Spell/Trap from your Deck to your hand. .
Spright Red can be Special Summoned from your hand if you control a Level/Link 2 monster. Has the quick effect of negating the effect of an opponent's monster, at the cost of Tributing another Level/Class/Link 2 monster.
So if you Tributed a Rank/Link 2 monster to activate this effect, you can destroy that monster.
Spright Carrot can be Special Summoned from your hand if you control a Level/Link 2 monster. Has the quick effect of negating the effect of an opponent's Spell/Trap, at the cost of Tributing 1 another Level/Class/Link 2 monster.
So if you Tributed a Rank/Link 2 monster to activate this effect, you can destroy that card.
Spright Starter is the Deck's Consistency Spell, its effect allows you to Special Summon 1 "Spright" monster directly from your Deck, in addition to dealing Life damage equal to its ATK.
For the rest of this turn after this card resolves, you cannot Special Summon monsters, except Level/Class/Link 2 monsters.
Spright Smashers is your "interaction" Spell with the opponent. To activate it, you must banish 1 "Spright" card from your hand or graveyard as a cost; Then, banish 1 Level/Class/Link 2 monster you control and 1 card your opponent controls.
Secondary Engine
Since "Spright" monsters that add cards from the Deck to the hand only do so when they are Special Summoned, the deck needs a Normal Summon engine to function well.
The best Level/Class 2 engine in the game is the "Frog" engine, which gives you access to Toadally Awesome.
Swap Frog starts your play, and when Summoned allows you to send 1 Level 2 or lower Water and Aqua-Type monster from your Deck or face-up on your field to the Graveyard.
An important detail is that this effect can be used several times in the same turn. In addition, you can also return 1 monster you control to the hand as a cost; After that, you can Normal Summon another "Frog" monster, except another "Swap Frog", in addition to your Normal Summon this turn.
Ronintoadin is the first target "Swap Frog" will send to the Graveyard, and with its effect, you can banish 1 "Frog" monster from your Graveyard as a cost; to Special Summon itself.
The other "Normal Summon" from the Deck is Deep Sea Diva, which when it is Normal Summoned allows you to Special Summon 1 Level 3 or lower Sea Serpent-Type monster from your Deck, so you will Summon another copy of the Deep Sea Diva and continue your plays.

The synergy of “Diva” with the deck lies in the fact that she is Level 2 and also of the Water Attribute, like the Frogs. Also, because it is a "Tuner" monster, it gives you access to "Crystron Halqifibrax", increasing the repertoire of its combos.
Staples/Tech Cards
Pot of Prosperity is possibly the most used Staple in all of Spright's decklists, and it's no wonder, as it greatly increases the consistency of any strategy.
To activate its effect, you must banish 3 or 6 cards of your choice from your Extra Deck, face-down as a cost; to excavate cards from the top of your deck equal to the number of banished cards and add 1 of them to your hand, the remaining excavated cards are placed on the bottom of the deck in any order.
Also, any damage your opponent takes for the rest of this turn is halved.
For the other Staples, there is still a difference of opinion about what to use. Some are using Board Breakers, others are using Handtraps and there are still those who use a mix between the two approaches.
As I am adept at using Handtraps, I recommend that you fill the rest of the deck with a large number of them.
Extra Deck
To open the Extra Deck, we have the aforementioned Spright Elf and Gigantic Spright.
Toadally Awesome is next on the list and is essential for the deck. Its quick effect allows you to negate the activation of an opponent's card, at the cost of sending 1 Aqua monster from your hand or field to the Graveyard.
You will usually send your own Toadally to the graveyard when activating this effect, and then recycling it with the Spright Elf effect. Thus, allowing to use its effect again in the same turn.
Now we come to the mighty Divine Arsenal AA-ZEUS - Sky Thunder, which has the quick effect of sending all other cards on the field to the Graveyard. So, you can clear the field easily without destroying your opponent's cards.
To help you summon it, use Sky Cavalry Centaurea to battle an opponent's monster, taking advantage of its effect that doesn't let it be destroyed in battle, then Special Summon Downerd Magician to increase the number of materials for your next summon, which will be “ZEUS”.
Cat Shark will help you finish the duel or defeat monsters with a very high attack, thanks to its effect that allows you to double the attack and defense of a Rank 4 or lower Xyz monster until the end of the turn in which it has been activated.
To finish off Xyz monsters, Onibimaru Soul Sweeper can help you deal with high attack monsters with its banish 1 monster your opponent controls.

Also, when it is destroyed by an opponent's card, it allows you to shuffle banished monsters back into the deck, up to the number of materials it had.
Salamangreat Almiraj is the Link-1 used in the deck and is mainly here to protect Gigantic Spright from destruction, this is your best way to “play around” a possible Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit in your opponent's hand.
Has a quick effect of 1 monster you control of destruction when Tributing itself as a cost.
Crystron Halqifibrax can be summoned through the Deep Sea Diva. When Summoned, you can activate its effect to Special Summon 1 Tuner monster from your Deck. You can use this effect to summon one of your Handtraps Tuner and then use a Swap Frog to place it in your hand.
Knightmare Phoenix is here because it is a generic Link-2 monster with the useful effect of destroying a Spell/Trap in the opponent's control.
To top it off, Dharc the Dark Charmer, Gloomy and Eria the Water Charmer, Gentle that can Summon Dark and Water Attribute monsters, respectively, from your opponent's Graveyard.
Game plan
When playing with this deck, your main objective is to set up a field with Toadally Awesome in one of the zones where Spright Elf is pointing, to protect it from being targeted by effects. You can also have Spright Red and/or Spright Carrot to negate Monster or Spell/Trap effects, respectively, in addition to another Level/Rank 2 monster to be Tributed.
To get to this field, you need a 2-card combo, one of your "normal summon" cards Deep Sea Diva or Swap Frog and one of your "Spright" cards that generate advantage Spright Blue, Spright Jet or Spright Starter.
However, you can also make an "acceptable" field by starting the combo with a single card, as long as it's Deep Sea Diva, Spright Starter or Swap Frog.
Here are some examples of combos:
2 Card Combo
If you open it with Deep Sea Diva and Spright Blue you can perform the combo like this:
> Normal Summon Deep Sea Diva and activate its effect to Special Summon another copy of itself, it is recommended to summon them in the zones that are just below the Extra Monster Zone;
> Special Summon Spright Blue and activate its effect to add Spright Jet to your hand;
> Special Summon Spright Jet and activate its effect to add Spright Starter to your hand;
> Activate Spright Starter to summon Spright Red from the deck in Defense Position at one end of the Main Monster Zone;
> Use the Deep Sea Diva you Summoned first and the “Spright” monster that is on the opposite end of the Summoned Spright Red as Xyz Material for the Gigantic Spright Summon;
> Activate the effect of Gigantic Spright to Special Summon Swap Frog from your Deck and with the effect of Swap Frog, send Ronintoadin from your Deck to the Graveyard;

> Use "Swap Frog" and the "Spright" monster that is occupying the central zone of your field as Link material for the "Spright Elf" Summon, make sure you Summon it in a zone where it is "pointing" to "Spright Red";
> Activate the effect of Spright Elf to Special Summon Swap Frog from your graveyard in the other zone where Spright Elf points and with the effect of Swap Frog, send another copy of itself from your deck to the graveyard;
> Activate the effect of Ronintoadin to Special Summon itself from your graveyard to the field by banishing a copy of Swap Frog from your graveyard;
> Use Ronintoadin and Swap Frog as Xyz material to summon Toadally Awesome in the center zone of your field, so that Spright Elf is pointing at it.
This will be your final field:
1 Card Combo
If you open it with Swap Frog you can perform the combo like this:
> Normal Summon Swap Frog and activate its effect to send Ronintoadin from your deck to the graveyard.
> Use Swap Frog as material Link for the invocation of Salamangreat Almiraj;
> Activate the effect of Ronintoadin to Special Summon itself from your graveyard to the field by banishing a copy of Swap Frog from your graveyard;
> Use Salamangreat Almiraj and Ronintoadin as material Link to summon Spright Elf
> Activate the effect of Spright Elf to Special Summon Ronintoadin from your Graveyard and use them both as Xyz Material for the Summon of Gigantic Spright;
> Activate the effect of Gigantic Spright by detaching Ronintoadin to Special Summon Swap Frog from your deck and with the effect of Swap Frog, send the last copy of Swap Frog from your deck to the graveyard;
> Reactivate the effect of Ronintoadin to Special Summon itself from your graveyard to the field by banishing a copy of Swap Frog from your graveyard;
> Use Ronintoadin and Swap Frog as Xyz material for the Toadally Awesome summon.
This will be your final field:
