Introduction
Created in 2008, synchro monsters changed what was before known as the "fusion deck", which became the "extra deck" after they were released. This new mechanic was pushed to popularity because of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, and evolved significantly throughout the years.
Currently, some decks that focus on synchro summoning aren't popular in the metagame, but some of the main synchro monsters in the game have their space in certain meta decks.
Check out below the 10 best synchro monsters in Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG.

Top 10 Best Synchro Monsters in Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG
10 - Formula Synchron
Formula Synchron isn't the main star in the decks it is in because its effect doesn't interact with the opponent, but it is still an excellent support card.
Besides drawing 1 card when it is summoned, it synchro-summons a monster during your opponent's turn, and can bring to the board the actual boss in your strategy.
9 - PSY-Framelord Omega
PSY-Framelord Omega is an incredibly useful card and has multiple roles. Besides creating a loop by removing resources in your opponent's hand, "Omega" also removes cards in the enemy graveyard and even recycles your cards you banished or cards in your graveyard.
8 - Chaos Angel
Chaos Angel is a tower that has protection effects depending on the attribute of materials you used to summon it, and, additionally, its effect banishes 1 card on the board when you summon it, which is quite strong. What makes this card powerful is that you can cheat out the synchro mechanic to bring it to the board, as we can consider 1 Light or Dark attribute monster as a tuner.
7 - Swordsoul Supreme Sovereign - Chengying
Swordsoul Supreme Sovereign - Chengying is another tower in this list and, besides having an effect that increases its own ATK and reduces the ATK of your opponent's monsters, it also protects itself from being destroyed by a card effect. This protection allows you to activate its interaction effect, and therefore banish a card on the board and another on your opponent's graveyard. It is quite interesting against the main decks nowadays.
6 - Naturia Beast
Another monster that is heavily hated by players (considered an FTK) is Naturia Beast, which is extremely oppressive against decks that depend on spell cards to play. Once you don't need to use this effect only once per turn, you can use it as long as you have cards in your deck to pay for the cost of this effect.
5 - Hot Red Dragon Archfiend King Calamity
Hot Red Dragon Archfiend King Calamity is an extremely harmful card because we can play out an FTK with its effect, considering that, after its effect resolves, our opponent won't be able to activate any other cards and, additionally, the cards your opponent controls won't activate their effects for the rest of that turn.
Once we summon it on our opponent's turn when we play this combo, our victory will practically be guaranteed because we'll "skip" our opponent's turn.
4 - Bystial Dis Pater
Usually restricted to decks that use the Bystial engine, Bystial Dis Pater is, besides a tower, a follow-up card, considering it recycles Light or Dark monsters that were banned. Additionally, "Dis Pater" can negate an effect or destroy a monster during our opponent's turn, which makes it quite versatile.

3 - Borreload Savage Dragon
As we reach this list's top 3, we have Borreload Savage Dragon, which occupies our third spot. It is a powerful synchro 8 monster that can be accessed easily and guarantees an omni negate to its player. The only downside to this card is that, to have its omni negate effect available, we need a link monster in our graveyard to equip on it when we summon it, which is relatively easy for some decks in the current format, but hard for others.
2 - Herald of the Arc Light
In our second place, we have Herald of the Arc Light, which occupies this position because it has three incredibly strong effects, both for interaction and consistency. "Arc Light" is a floodgate that banishes monsters summoned from the players' hands or decks to the graveyard while it is on the board, and can also omni negate effects when it tributes itself. Additionally, if sent to the graveyard, usually straight from your extra deck, it allows you to add 1 ritual monster from your deck to your hand.
1 - Baronne de Fleur
To finish our list, our first spot goes to Baronne de Fleur, whose main effect is an omni negate effect, but there is a detail that sets it apart from other cards. "Baronne"'s omni negate can only be used once while it is face-up on the field, and, as a result, she can return to the extra deck and at the same time summon another monster from your graveyard, something that allows this card to recycle itself and also guarantees its player follow-up actions.
Additionally, this card destroys a card on the board, something that throughout formats has been used to trigger some cards, but it can also be used to just remove an opponent card from your way.
