Introduction
After the last banlist, the advanced format of the Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG is once again open, that is, there are several decks with good chances of performing well in tournaments, especially in smaller ones. So, I prepared this list with financially accessible decks for you who intend to participate in local tournaments!
Check below 4 options of “budget” decks that can give you good results!
Budget Decks in 2023
Crystal Beast
Just last year, the Crystal Beast archetype received support in “Structure Deck: Legend of the Crystal Beasts” and became popular for being a good deck for a low price.

At the time, the deck seemed like a good budget deck option to try to counter Tearlaments, as it was able to access Necrovalley through the effect of Rainbow Bridge of Salvation, in addition to using Dimension Shifter and Abyss Dweller.
With the meta rotation caused by the banlist and the new cards in the set Photon Hypernova, a good strategy for a Crystal Beast budget deck in the new format is to focus on establishing a field with Number 41: Bagooska the Terribly Tired Tapir and Wynn the Wind Charmer, Verdant, also, instead of Necrovalley, use the field spell Secret Village of the Spellcasters, which can be excellent against Kashtira and variations of the Branded deck, which should make up the February Metagame.
Traptrix
The Traptrix archetype is about to receive supports, which will be released in “Structure Deck: Beware of Traptrix” and give a good strength to the deck.
The Traptrix are female monsters of the insect or plant type and the Earth attribute, which interact with the “Hole” Trap Cards and also normal Trap Cards in general.
The deck's strategy is to control the game through Trap Cards to decrease the opponent's resources, while your monsters are unaffected by the effects of Trap Cards. In addition, the deck can easily access tier 4 monsters, whether they are of their own archetype or even generic.
Dark World
Like the previous archetypes, Dark World also recently received support late last year in "Structure Deck: Dark World".
The deck could not shine due to Tearlaments dominance in the past format, where the cards that were used to counter Tier 0 also served to counter Dark World. But, with the arrival of the new format, the deck becomes much more viable.
Dark World is a combo deck where your monsters activate effects when they are discarded to the Graveyard by card effects, and if that effect was activated by your opponent's card, you get an additional effect.
The greatest advantage of the deck is that some combos can remove cards from the opponent's hand, so if you are not stopped, there is the possibility of applying an FTK to your opponent.
Swordsoul
Swordsoul does not have a structural deck like the other decks on this list, but it has become cheaper since its cards were reprinted in the “Magnificent Mavens” set.
This is an excellent option for the post banlist format, as it has been in the meta before, but lost steam with the arrival of Spright and Tearlaments in the TCG. However, once they have been nerfed, there is a possibility of the deck returning to the Metagame.
The deck is focused on Synchro Summoning and unlike most other decks of this type, it does not rely on Tuner monsters to Summon them, as all monsters of the archetype share the effect of Special Summoning a Tuner Token.
In addition, the deck uses Tenyi monsters to complement its strategy, and they are essential for the strategy to work well, as they provide a good variety of interactions.

Conclusion
I would like to point out that if any card is not part of your “budget”, you can exchange it for another that is useful for your strategy. I hope you enjoyed the decks presented!
